Intercultural
Collaboration Experiment pursues collaboration among heterogeneous groups
across country borders. Participants can talk on the keyboard or telephone while simultaneously viewing a document
in progress and communicate in their mother languages supported by machine
translation. Intercultural collaboration management emphasizes collaboration
and project process. In order to facilitate the collaboration Intercultural
collaboration management imposes at least three components, that is
Collaboration management, knowledge management and work process. Collaboration
management will support high level of interaction, communication, and coordination.
Knowledge management will capture tacit knowledge, turn tacit knowledge into
explicit knowledge, and share explicit knowledge. Work process analyze task
interdependence, document decision rationale and the work process itself. Collaborative
Project Management Architecture (CPMA), is proposed by Institute of Computing
Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, will support synchronous and
asynchronous experiments in terms of Multiagent Environment (MAGE) and semantic
