Semantic computing is information technology to deal with ordinary people's semantics as the direct object of computation. It provides an open platform to systematically address intelligent services meaningful to ordinary people, allow ordinary people to understand and compose programs, thereby supporting intellectual activities of individuals, minimizing social transaction costs, promoting active social involvement of citizines and improving intellectual productivity of the entire society.
