Harmonized use of home information appliances is a promising field of research that will benefit from integration of ubiquitous computing and semantic descriptions of daily living activities. We will introduce our ongoing project of building ontology-driven intelligent homes using our UBKit (Ubiquity Building toolKit) technology, which is an open-platform for making ubiquitous computing happen in real world.
